1. Question: Who gives the first angel’s message?
Answer: God’s people who accept the message and go preach it to the world.
Support: These three angels represent the people who accept the light of God’s messages, and go forth as His agents to sound the warning throughout the length and breadth of the earth. {ST, January 25, 1910 par. 5}
2. Question: When was the first angel’s message first given?
Answer: 1844 At the beginning of the advent movement.
Support: The first and second messages were given in 1843 and 1844, and we are now under the proclamation of the third ; but all three of the messages are still to be proclaimed. {CW 26.2}

Answer: William Miller and his collaborators.

Answer: To save the uncorrupted followers of god from the corrupted principals of the churches.

5:Question: How is the first angel’s message announcing “the hour of His judgment is come,” a part of the gospel?
Answer: The first angel’s message is a warning to the professed followers of God. The angel cried with a loud voice “fear god and give him the glory. For the hour of his judgment has come.” Sin is a part of our nature. Those whose sins are not crucified with Christ, will perish when God destroys sin once and for all.
Support: Hanging upon the cross Christ was the gospel. . . . This is our message, our argument, our doctrine, our warning to the impenitent, our encouragement for the sorrowing, the hope for every believer.
6: Question: What were the consequences to the churches when they rejected the first angel’s message?
Answer: They shut themselves out from the same God they professed to be serving.
Support: In this message, God has sent to the church a warning, which, had it been accepted, would have corrected the evils that were shutting them away from Him. Had they received the message from heaven, humbling their hearts before the Lord and seeking in sincerity a preparation to stand in His presence, the Spirit and power of God would have been manifested among them. {GC 379.1}
